San Pantaleo, an enchanted village in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, known as 'The town of artists' for its bohemian spirit, set in a granite landscape stands on the granite massif of Cugnana surrounded by nature which has maintained its wild appearance despite being a short distance away the glamor of the Costa Smeralda has shined since the 1960s.

Built in the early 19th century around a country church dedicated to San Pantaleo, it has seen the growth over time of its low houses built according to the typical model of the Gallura stazzo in the midst of which small artisan shops and artistic ateliers open.

A place out of time, which welcomes visitors with the famous and warm hospitality of its inhabitants who keep their traditions intact with simplicity.

Don't miss the very famous, fascinating and evocative San Pantaleo market which takes place only from May to October, every Thursday in the Church square and in the surrounding streets which brings numerous visitors to dive into this great local treasure full of stalls with local products. Sardinian craftsmanship (exclusive productions of local ceramists, wrought iron artisans and skilled inlayers), clothing, typical products, fruit and vegetables but also antiques very linked to Sardinian tradition.
